clucky much?

for those of you out there that don't know what clucky means...

Australian informal  (of a woman)
  1. wishing to have a baby
  2. excessively protective towards her children

i'm not ready for a baby yet, but looking at my stationary lately, i think i have babies on the brain. when you reach your mid-twenties, babies start popping up everywhere! no matter how much you try to deny your baby desires, it's hard to hide when your friends start having gorgeous, squishy, squeezable babies. i had the honor of creating my namesakes baptism invites, shown below. please visit my etsy shop to view a full collection. i love custom orders, so let me know if you have an idea i can help you with.

below are some recent orders printed out and getting them all ready to ship!

i recently found a great idea called the smile project. i challenge you all to play along. write down something that makes you smile every day for one year. i will be updating mine every week or so here on my blog.

love,
kbn

bikes, bikes, and more bikes

maybe it's because i married a cyclist, maybe it's because they are vintage looking and they remind me of europe... whatever it is, i love drawing bikes!

i started with a bike for two

then drew this cute little tricycle

and finally this vintage penny farthing

whatever my inspiration came from, i am seeing a recurring theme... you can expect more bike themed stationary to come in the future. i have added more items to my etsy shop too, so check out what is going on over there.

cards galore

I love drawing and creating stationary. It is my outlet from a busy day at work and I really hope to just be doing this one day (a girl can dream, right?!). I have added some more of my creations to my etsy shop and have some more sketches in the works too. Keep an eye out for more vintage inspired cards.

I hope to make some bi-fold cards soon and maybe some custom postcard invitations and letter head monogram stationary... stay tuned!

my love of all things paper

I love to draw and I love to write letters (even though I don't do it enough), so I decided why not make my own stationary?! I started toying around with ideas, designs and sketches a while back and learned how to add pops of color with a couple different programs, most of them were done using GIMP on my MAC (i love my mac!). My mom asked if I would help her with the invitations to my brothers rehersal dinner for his wedding, and I created some invites. From there, the ideas kept coming and I kept creating. I have added a few samples of my work, they can be made into letter heads, invitations, stationary of all sorts really. If you have any questions, or would like a custom design, don't hesitate to ask! Also, visit my etsy shop to view more creations as I come up with them.
